This involves taste testing name brand versus generic products (crackers, chips, cookies) and two variables of their choosing (caffeine intake and hours slept, height vs wingspan). They are working to obtain sample sizes of 10-20 students and they will analyze their results soon!

MS scientists in Ms. Reeder's 6th grade science took their activity to the old football field! Students learned about the scale of the solar system by using critical thinking skills to understand and model the solar system. Students worked with groups to estimate their understanding of how far apart the planets were and then repositioned their planets using orange cones to measure the scale model distance. Our students are out of this world!
